Knitting Pattern MAYA Jumper:
The simple circular yoke sweater can be knitted either in stockinette stitch or with a beautiful pattern of brioche and purl stitches.

Description

The Maya Jumper is worked top-down with a circular yoke. In a circular yoke construction, the increases for the sleeves as well as the back and front pieces are distributed evenly across the yoke and worked within the same round.

The jumper can be worked in two variations.
The first option features a decorative yoke with a pattern of brioche and purl stitches. In this version, the increases are particularly easy to follow, as they are visually integrated into the pattern. The hem and sleeve hems are finished with narrow ribbed cuffs, where the knit stitches are worked as slip stitches. The tight cuffs create a balloon effect at the sleeves and at the hips.

The second variation is worked simply in stockinette stitch and features decorative I-cord edges at the neckline, hem, and sleeves.

Using the detailed size chart, you can compare your measurements with those of the model to determine the correct size or a mixed size if needed.
