DESCRIPTION

The ISA Cardigan is a simple, cropped raglan cardigan featuring a deep raglan line and wide balloon sleeves. Decorative I-cord finishes highlight its minimalist design. A special eye-catching detail is the wide raglan lines on the back.

It is worked using the beginner-friendly top-down raglan method (Raglan from the Top – RVO).

First, the back neckband is worked. Then stitches are picked up along the long edge of the band for the raglan yoke, and increases are worked along the raglan lines. For larger sizes, additional double increases are worked at the body toward the end of the raglan yoke.

Once the raglan yoke is complete, the stitches are divided under the arms into sleeves and body. The body is worked first in rows, followed by the sleeves, which are worked in the round.

All hems are finished with an I-cord bind-off.
