Description

The MIKA Summer Cardigan is a wonderfully airy cardigan with short sleeves.

The ultra-light cardigan pairs especially well with summer dresses with short sleeves or spaghetti straps.

It’s also a perfect companion for mild summer evenings with denim shorts and a T-shirt.

You can find the shirt from the MIKA series here: MIKA Summer V Shirt

Description

The MIKA Summer Cardigan is a short-sleeved cardigan worked from the top down.

The cardigan features integrated sleeves, so that the shoulders and sleeves are worked as one continuous piece.

First, the back neckband is worked, and the back piece is attached to the band. The back neckline is shaped using short rows.

Next, the right front and then the left front are attached to the back piece, and the increases for the V-neck are worked.

Under the arms, all pieces are joined together. The sleeves are shaped with decreases, and further increases for the neckline are worked.

The hem is finished with an I-cord.
