Big KIM Cardigan
Description
The Big KIM Cardigan is the chunky oversized version of the KIM Cardigan and looks most casual when styled with jeans, a T-shirt, and sneakers.
Combined with flowy, wide dresses, the oversized look is also perfectly XXL.
Description
The Big KIM Cardigan with wide batwing sleeves is worked in one piece from the top by picking up stitches from the knitted sections. Unlike the light summer version, this model uses a loop cast-on instead of a provisional cast-on for the shoulders and sleeves to provide more stability to the sleeves.
The shoulder and sleeve area is shaped using short rows, and the lower sleeve seams are closed with the Kitchener stitch (grafting), making them invisible and seamless. The cardigan features a V-neck and open edges at the neckline and armholes, finished with a brioche edge.
Through decreases at the sides of the lower body, the cardigan gains a beautiful rounded shape under the armholes and becomes slightly narrower toward the bottom.
